The Triumph Sports Owner's Association Newsletters
Special Thanks to Mark Silverberg who
found 54 TSOAs in a garage sale that were not on this site (posting completed
August 17, 2009).
This leaves the following TSOA Newsletters (9) to complete this site. - Dec 57,
Jan 58, Aug 58, September 58, Dec 67, Aug 73, April 74, Sept-Oct 78, and Nov-Dec 78.
Sept 59, Nov 59, Dec 59, Jan 60, Feb 60 are extremely poor quality due the
technology available when these files were added to this site. We need pdf files
for this page.
Please help us complete this site so that everyone can enjoy this information.
The Triumph Sports Owners Association (TSOA) was the factory- sponsored club for 26 years from 1956-1981. The TSOA was originally started as a sales tool, with the TSOA Newsletter sent free to every new Triumph owner. From October of 1958 through December of 1981,
the TSOA newsletter was published in the same format, changing at various times
from a monthly to bi-monthly and quarterly publication. The newsletter had a
peak circulation of nearly 40,000, paid for by Triumph. It ended however, with the demise of Triumph in 1981.
The Vintage Triumph Register
took over the publication of Triumph information. The VTR inherited the logo, badges, and history of the TSOA.
These newsletters are interesting to read, as they describe glory days of Triumph. and
its role in the fascinating, volatile, always optimistic automotive business.

let us know!
Tom Myers provided 72 original copies of TSOA issues. These newsletters have
been copied into Acrobat Reader Format (pdf file).
